Bratcher, on trial for murder, was found guilty by reason of insanity. It appears to be the first trial in the U.S. where a veteran's post-traumatic

My comment: This could be a dual edged sword. On one hand, it is a defense to criminal actions where the defendant has PTSD saying he was not responsible for his actions and did not know right from wrong (the insanity plea). On the other hand, it could be used for involuntary commitments and further discrimination to those of us that have PTSD.
Also, does this raise the question (regardless of it being a capital crime) for others convicted, currently incarcerated that have PTSD? Lots of the unknown here.
